Brew Age Videos Highlight The Craft Beer Revolution

Brew Age

Brew Age is a fantastic new video series from Oct28 Productions about the craft beer revolution and the breweries that are doing their best to change the way we think about and enjoy beer.

There are three episodes available right now, and each is only about six minutes long, so you can catch up and enjoy them all in one sitting. Plus, you can sign up at brew-age.com to be notified when new episodes are posted so you never miss a new episode.

I witnessed their setup firsthand at a recent homebrew house tour I attended, and can vouch for how passionate they are about capturing the spirit and the energy of the craft beer movement.

There’s a (surprising) dearth of high quality beer videos on the internet right now, so hopefully they can keep this series going and continue to give the world a new and exciting look into the world of craft beer.

Hoppy Press Makes Art For Homebrewers

Hoppy Press

Hoppy Press is a new online store that’s working on a unique line of beer art for homebrewers, beer lovers, and anyone with an appreciation of fine craft brews.

Hoppy Press was founded by Paul Finn and Greg Elizondo, two homebrewers, beer lovers and software craftsmen working out of the beautiful seacoast region of New Hampshire, USA.

Being homebrewers, they are passionate about quality ingredients and creating the best product possible, so when they started looking for beer art that represented the homebrewer community and found only cheap glossy posters that were mass-produced, they decided to take matters into their own hands, and Hoppy Press was born.

Hoppy Press makes their art using only the highest quality printing methods, and all screen prints are hand-pulled using only environmentally friendly, soy-based inks. Plus, the rich, heavy paper they use is manufactured in the USA using 100% renewable electricity.

Their debut is a limited edition print, called Brew Debut, which features bold colors, contrast and detail that bring the word “Brew!” to life with a large, 18″ x 24″ design.

Though this special first edition is limited to just one-hundred prints, you can sign up for their newsletter to receive exclusive sneak peeks and upcoming special offers.

As an added bonus, each print is packed by hand and ships for free, so you’re not getting nickel and dimmed with added costs. Just another example of why Paul and Greg have something special going here. If you’re looking for something to spruce up the walls of your home or bar, then definitely check out what Hoppy Press has on offer.

Los Angeles Craft Beer and Homebrewing

For a look at the Los Angeles, CA homebrewing culture, check out this video from Thrash Lab, where they look into the community of craft beer and the growth of homebrewing in the area. They talk with beer geeks, craft beer experts, and home brewers, and look at the history and development of home-brewed beer as the foundation and grassroots of all craft beer:

LoveLikeBeer and The Half and Half Make Awesome Beer Posters

LoveLikeBeer Poster

LoveLikeBeer is an organization dedicated to creating inspiring Vegan Food and Craft Beer events in San Diego with a charitable purpose.

To achieve that goal, they work with local artisans and entrepreneurs to host culinary events which incorporate innovative, vegan cuisine, craft beer pairings, and a donation to a local charity.

To help promote their events, they worked with The Half and Half to produce a fantastic poster, and documented the process with an equally impressive video:

(Side Note: I LOVE their logo.)

It’s good to see the passion that goes in to a project like this, so if you’re in the San Diego area, I highly encourage you to check LoveLikeBeer out.
