Duffy’s Brew Treats Your Hair With Beer

Duffy's Brew

Duffy’s Brew is a line of beer-based personal care products, including shampoo and conditioner, that get added nourishing benefits from Elysian Brewing Company’s Dragonstooth Stout.

Apparently beer is good for your hair because:

  • Beer is rich in amino acids that coat and repair each strand of hair.
  • Mineral-rich malt and barley preserve hydration, adding shine.
  • The proteins and Vitamin B add body and volume to hair.
  • Hops and yeast help treat scalp irritations such as dandruff and psoriasis.

In addition, all of the Duffy’s Brew products are sulfate-free, phthalate-free, paraben-free, contain no artificial colors, and are not tested on animals.

It also doesn’t hurt that the bottle design is pretty cool as well.

Learn The Language of Beer

I’m a little late to the game on this one, but it was new to me, so I figured I’d share it with you as well in case you missed it too.

The ‘Learn The Language of Beer’ infographic (AKA ‘How to Talk Like a Beer Snob’) from Pimsleur Approach covers topics that include key terminology (hops, malt, yeast, etc.) 10 beers to order that aren’t Coors Light, and a couple of interesting facts.

Plus, their sources include the BJCP and Beer Advocate, with feedback from the Institute of Brewing and Distilling, The Foaming Head and the Brewers Association, so the information’s legit.
